Intercultural aspects in a selected EFL course-book package and in EFL classrooms in Slovakia
The present paper reports findings of the investigation focused on the intercultural component in selected teaching materials. To ensure validity, data were collected applying the methods of content analysis, observation and interview. The results of the research revealed that in the analysed course-book packages only a limited number of intercultural aspects could be regarded as relevant because treated suitably. In addition, the findings of the interview and observation showed that the implementation of intercultural aspects in FL education in Slovakia is still unsatisfactory.
