Phraseology of the Cultural Dimension

Abstract
The paper provides an insight into a complex relation between phraseology and culture. The aim is to establish a typology of the cultural phenomena reflected in the Spanish phraseology as well as in the Russian one and to reveal the factors that influence the semantic interpretation of the culturally marked idioms, such as idioms of the Bible origin. For this purpose the results of two questionnairies realized by the Russian and Spanish students are analyzed.
