Abstract
The subject of research of this article is the phenomenon of derivational homonyms in the system of substandard derivation. Cases of affixal homonymy are considered, revealed in material of slang, and also possibilities and mechanisms of the emergence of homonyms when borrowing substandard morphemes, fixed in derivational systems of literary styles of language. The justness is shown of the opinions of the scholars of the Kazan linguistic school on the existence in the Russian language of homonyms of suffixes of names with values of abstract action and of names with subject values.
