Abstract
In the article the theoretical aspects of the national identity concept in fiction are defined. The cognitive potential of the receptive aesthetics and subject-system method in the study of national identity is revealed. On an example of poems of G.Tukay the role of subjective organization of the text in expression of identity, the sense interference and phenomenon of the untranslatablity are demonstrated.
