Remarks on Italian and Hungarian Verb System in Contrastive Approach

Abstract
The comparison of the Italian verb system with the Hungarian one, a language of different type, presents many problems for the practical school grammars. In a brief overview of the issues we highlight the problems of nomenclature, the differences of morphosyntactic and semantic interpretation. The contribution that a monolingual reference grammar can bring to the construction of the didactic approach is emphasized.
